MONOTYPE

Monotypes are unique, once-off prints, produced by painting an image on a plate and then taking one single print.
This allows me the freedom to work loosely and freely, able to shift and change shapes with fluidity and ease. 

These pieces represent a different side of my work: more straightforward observations of nature, predominantly of birds and small mammals, they only overlap with my ink paintings in their subject matter.
